  • About Kevin Viner

In the entertainment world, buzzwords like “award winning” are thrown around so much that they lose their meaning. But unlike many entertainers, Kevin Viner has the credentials to back up his claims.  Kevin has won international competitions for his close-up magic, and his mind-reading show has seen him featured multiple times on primetime network television.

Like most magicians, Kevin Viner started young. He received his first magic set at age five, realizing at an early age his passion for the craft. Unlike many magicians, however, Kevin knew without a shadow of a doubt what his career path would be.

By age 14, Kevin had begun performing at the world-renowned Magic Castle in Hollywood, a private, invitation-only club reserved for the best in the industry. Within a year, he was hired to perform for Qualcomm at a corporate conference in San Diego. And that was just the beginning.

Kevin’s current resume boasts an impressive number of accolades, including a 1st place win at the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas (an international contest judged by over 500 magicians), the International Brotherhood of Magicians Comedy Award, and 1st Place at the Magic Castle’s Prestigious Strolling Magic Olympics.

“Kevin is a true professional, and Everyone was Mesmerized by his Talent! I would recommend him to anyone seeking magic for a special occasion.”

    Joanne A., Beverly Hills, CA

  • Mentalist, Magician, Comedian

Kevin has appeared multiple times on the network television program Masters of Illusion, as well as on the PBS Johnny Carson American Masters biopic, and on Japan's SuperDrama TV.

Outside of magic, Kevin has an eclectic array of interests, many of which have found ways into his show. He holds a degree in mathematics from UC Irvine, and uses mathematical properties to demonstrate gambling cheating techniques, as well as to predict how audience members are likely to respond at key points in the show. He is also a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, composing for both piano and guitar. In 2013, he decided to tackle his first marathon run, training hard for 4 months to achieve a sub 4 hour time.

Kevin is also an avid student of memory and psychology, using techniques he has learned to remember guests' names and influence their choices onstage.
