Inside the Magic: A Closer Look at Kevin Viner

Kevin Viner's original blend of magic and comedy has astonished audiences worldwide. Whether amazing people with his sleight of hand or performing Vegas-style stage illusions, Kevin combines classical effects with popular culture to create an unforgettable entertainment experience.

Born and raised in Carlsbad, CA, Kevin began his interest in magic when he received a small magic set for his fifth birthday. As he grew older, he began performing magic for his family, teachers, and friends.

Kevin started performing professionally when he was 10 years old, mainly for birthday parties and small public events. When he was 12, he got his first big break by winning the Premiere Productions Annual Talent Search.

Kevin quickly realized that the standard rabbit in hat routine was not for him. When Kevin was 14, he was hired to entertain at his first trade show. That same year, he gained acceptance into the world famous Academy of Magic Arts, at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA.

During high school and college, Kevin juggled a busy schedule between attending classes and performing magic full time. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine, and holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics.

Many of America's leading corporations utilize Kevin Viner's magic in their specialized presentations. In the summer of 2007, Kevin was selected as one of three performers nationwide to perform at the Allen and Company conference in Sun Valley, ID. This event included notables such as Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and Rupert Murdoch. Kevin currently performs about two hundred shows a year, and specializes in creating customized magic presentations for corporate audiences worldwide.
